Prior to her current position, Ms. Torres was employed as Business Development Manager of North Americas for Independent Television News (ITN Source) in the United Kingdom from 2006 to 2008. She drove growth in North America and Latin America and increased brand awareness throughout the sector. Her major accounts included A&E, National Geographic, Discovery U.S., and Discovery Latin America, as well as TV Globo in Brazil. She was awarded on numerous occasions for her exceptional customer service and portfolio growth of 60% in one year. Due to her strong leadership capabilities, she was charged with managing a team of six for the New York location for several months prior to her transition to Associated Press.
